Driving Game. Past Simple vs Past Continuous

We use the past continuous:
* for progressive actions,
* for actions happening at the same time
* and for long actions that are interrupted by another action. The latter usually happens all of a sudden.

Most times, past simple sentences are preceded by when and past continuous sentences are preceded by while or as.

In this quiz, you will see four options to complete ten sentences. When you choose the best option, a green light comes out, and you will have the chance to play a driving game. Press the left and right arrow keys to steer, the up and down keys to control the speed and the space bar to jump. Don't try this in real life.
