Hi! I am a turkey. Do you know the name for a baby turkey? A baby turkey is a poult. You can learn more by studying this set of flashcards. In the first falshcard, you will see the names of baby animals, and in the second one you will find the name of the matching adult animal. Some names are the same. For example, a cub is the baby of a lion, a tiger or a bear. Some other names are very similar. For example, duck and duckling or pig and piglet. There are also names of baby animal which are very different from the names of their matching adults. With a bit of practice, you will learn them all.
