Here's a set of flashcards to practise vocabulary about urban life. If you click on the link below, you'll be redirected immediately to Quizlet website.

You will see a flashcard in the middle of the screen and two sections on the left: STUDY and PLAY.
1. The STUDY section will help you study vocabulary, English definitions, spelling and pronunciation. There are five categories:
- Flashcards (fichas): Click on each flashcard to read the definition. Next, click on the arrows below to complete the series. Take your time to read the definitions and read the whole sentence.
- Learn (aprender): Read the definition and choose the right word until you complete the series.
- Write (escribir): Read the definition and write the right word correctly. Next, press the space bar or click on ANSWER. You'll be able to check if you got it right immediately and you will also have the chance to listen to the pronunciation of the word and its definition.
- Spell (ortografía): Listen to the pronunciation of each word and write what you have just heard. Then, click on the space bar to check your answer.
- Test (probar): Here you will find gap-filling, matching and multiple-choice questions as well as a TRUE or FALSE exercise. Once you have answered them all, click on the button at the bottom of the page to check your answers.
2. The GAME section includes:
- A matching game (combinar): Drag corresponding items onto each other to make them disappear.
- A gravity game (gravedad): Click on get started. Next, select the difficulty level and in the ANSWER WITH option (respuesta), choose TERM (término). Start the game and watch out for red asteroids! If you miss a term twice, they will destroy your planet.
- Quizlet Live is the last game, but you will need to play with at least four more people.

A ride around town
Do you want to go for a ride and know different places in town? I'll show you around my hometown. There are many places to go such as restaurants, department stores and more... Have a look at the flashcards, don't forget to click on the loudspeaker icon to listen to the pronunciation of the words. The Neighbourhood
These flashcards will help you learn words about neighbourhoods. You can see their English names, pictures and their translations into Spanish but that is not all. If you click on the loudspeaker, you will listen to their pronunciation and if you do the spelling and matching exercises, it will help you study. You can even play games. Then, move on to do the word search. How many words about places in a neighbourhood can you find? Words are across, down and diagonal, sometimes backwards, but that's not a difficult challenge for you, is it?

Here are some shops and places we can find in a city or a small town. Click on the boxes and write their names. Do you want a clue? I'll give you the words of the first pannel:

A Day Around Town: Shopping and Shooting the Breeze
Do you like spending your free days visiting your town? I certainly do. I like meeting friends, going to different places and going shopping. We always have a good time. In this game, there are some examples of several places you can find in almost every town. The Earth is being attacked, you can save it if you answer questions correctly. At the bottom of the screen, you will see the definition of a place, then shoot the right capsule. You must move your mouse quickly to make it on time and to get to the next level. Each stage of the game is more difficult. Go!
